Ferda Elerman

Ferda Elerman is a Turkish Certified Practicing Accountant and a member of Australian Society of CPAs.

He started his career at Peat Marwick Mitchell Istanbul office in Istanbul in 1986 and during his audit practice of 21 years, he was the audit partner at BDO Denet and Deloitte Türkiye between 2002 and 2015 while he conducted audits of several public companies.

During his career at BDO, he also set up the corporate finance department and provided company valuation and financial due diligence services to non-audit clients. Further, he was the partner in charge of M&A projects referred by BDO Global.

Between 1994 and 1998, he was the financial controller of Singer Sewing Machine Company AŞ and the deputy finance director of Delphi Elektrik Sistemleri Limited Şirketi. During this period, he gained valuable insights into the daily operations of manufacturing companies as well as the nature of risks &threats they face in running their business activities.

During the last seven years of his professional life, he has set up internal audit units and audit committees at private companies operating in manufacturing industry and at a private university. He was also the independent director of these corporations and since May 2023, he is the Non-executive director of Banvit AŞ.

Ferda Elerman is the member of Board of Directors Association and Turkish Internal Auditors Association.
